Parents, teachers and especially coaches. If you work with students or even want to explore what that might feel like, you owe it to yourself to set aside 30 minutes a week to explore taking your interactions with student/athletes to the 3rd dimension. Tuesdays beginning Sept. 10th at 7:30 am (7:20 if you want to grab a coffee and connect) Jason Allen will facilitate an FCA Coaches Academy at Mount Zion. The Academy will conclude near Christmas break and features the 3-Dimensional (3D) Coaching curriculum designed by Dr. Jeff Duke from the University of Central Florida.
Research shows that only about 15% of coaches in America intentionally coach beyond the first dimension. Why would that matter? Because 70% of athletes will fail to reach their potential on and off the field due to 2nd dimension (Psychological) issues. Research shows that coaches who coach in all three dimensions regularly produce athletes(students) who:
? learn skills quicker (more attentive)
? achieve higher fitness compliance (work harder)
? experience shorter rehabilitation (recover from injury)
? are more adaptable to new conditions (?on the road?)
? possess the freedom to be creative (?are gamers?)
? develop deeper relationships with other players and with coaches (learn life?s lessons)
This program is designed for coaches at all levels, but if it works for you to substitute the role of teacher, mentor or parent for coach. We believe this class will open up a connection for you with students that will be God honoring and take away many of the frustrations we can encounter because we work in only the first dimension. Share this opportunity with friends and coaches. This is a FREE program. Come try it out, no obligation. God is good! Please express your interest here.
