Student Activities and Athletics
ATHLETICS
Sports bring discipline and teamwork into the lives of students and build Christian character in unique ways. The Middle School and High School athletes will participate in a full range of athletic activities and competition with other Christian, public and private schools. Sports for students in grades 6-12 include volleyball, soccer, basketball, cross-country, track and field, skiing, baseball and softball. Mount Zion also offers numerous after-school clubs such as chess, bowling, music, art, science, foreign language, writing and culinary arts.

ARTS It is always exciting to watch our children discover their unique God given talents and abilities. In art, our students are encouraged to explore their creativity through the elements and principles of design, drawing, painting, and other studio techniques. As we see their artistic talents blossom before our eyes, we are reminded that God is good!

DRAMA “All the world’s a stage,” Shakespeare noted, and the young thespians at Mount Zion have many opportunities to be “players on it.” Frequent school performances allow students to develop their talents in theater.
