It is a privilege for the Mount Zion staff to share God’s Word
with young people daily and to live it before them. The school’s
goal is to create a thirst for the Word of God in students, equipping
them for God’s purposes and motivating them to put their faith
in action.
Mount Zion teachers are directed to boldly present the major doctrines of the Bible-those of sin, salvation, the deity of Christ, and the inerrancy of Scripture. However, when addressing subjects on which born-again believers can differ, such as modes of baptism, tongues, and healing, the Mount Zion staff acknowledges that varied views exist. On these issues, we encourage students to study Scripture and to seek the counsel of their parents and pastors. The Mount Zion teachers are trained to refrain from presenting their own personal convictions, thus avoiding the denominational differences that may divide the Body of Christ.
