CHRIST-CENTERED ACADEMICS
Our Upper School teachers set the example of Chaucer’s clerk: “And gladly would he learn, and gladly teach.”  The faculty at Mount Zion are well educated, intellectually curious committed Christians, dedicated to teaching what nourishes the mind and educates the heart.  A collegial atmosphere is evident in our classes as students and teachers work together to apply God’s truth to the subject matter and issues of life.
EXCITING CURRICULUM & TECHNOLOGY
With academic excellence and high-end technology as hallmarks, Mount Zion is changing the way Christian education looks today.  Teachers use the “Intentional Schools” method, using technology with direct teaching to improve student learning.  Students bring their laptops into the classroom using it as an important tool for learning.
A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE IN SUBJECT AREAS
The underlying strength of our program lies in developing the student’s ability to integrate all facets of life with a faith rooted in God’s truth.  The program is predominantly college preparatory, with a Biblical perspective that permeates all instruction and activities.  From a science teacher discussing the design of the circulatory system, to a coach reviewing lessons learned in the heat of athletic competition, to a music group performing on stage, education at Mount Zion is Christ-centered and God-exalting.

SPORTS,MISSIONS & ACTIVITIES
Our athletic program complements the other areas of the curriculum by enhancing the student’s entire educational experience.  Boys compete in soccer, track and field, basketball and skiing.  Girls compete in soccer, track and field, basketball and skiing.  In addition to sports and the arts, students can participate in student government, yearbook, news and literary publications, drama, weekly chapel services, worship team, and a variety of ministry groups, clubs and foreign mission trips.
COLLEGE GUIDANCE
To facilitate the college search, we have partnered with the New Hampshire Higher Education Association to work with students and parents.  Through group and individual meetings beginning in the junior year, the NHHEA counselors, along with our school counselor, aid students and families in the college admissions process.

A CULTURE OF FAITH
The faculty works diligently to help our students develop a seasoned Christian faith. This, combined with developed skills, knowledge, wisdom, discernment and leadership abilities, will help each student impact this community and our world for Jesus Christ.

Our prayer is that each Mount Zion graduate will become a lover of learning and a lover of God... one who is willing to live boldly and courageously... one who embraces the God-centered, cross-cultured life with an unquenchable thirst for God and an uncompromising integrity that brings glory to God, and God alone.
