Mount Zion takes advantage of current technologies that allow the student, parent and school to be important players for the student's team. Each family has password access to "Zion's Gate" which allows them, through the internet, to view Mount Zion announcements, grades, attendance and student progress in our Citizenship program.
Families of high school students lease or provide and upkeep their own portable computer for use in the classroom and home. The school provides Apple 12" iBooks for lease although the brand of the computer is not important. Computers are expected to have Microsoft Office, a web browser, Photoshop Elements and the ability to access the school's wireless 802.11g network. Web-notes, class-work and student progress information are all available through the internet.
