Is Mount Zion Christian Schools right for you and your family?

Mission Statement

Mount Zion Christian Schools provide an academically challenging, Christ-centered community that equips students with a Christian world-view grounded in the scriptures to achieve excellence in God's unique purpose for them.

We are a family committed to the Lord and want our children to be supported in the Christian faith and values.

Colossians 2:2-3(NIV) My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge

FAMILIES NEED SUPPORT NOW MORE THAN EVER… Our children are increasingly met with challenges in a world that views everything as relative with no absolute truths. The one truth that gives salvation can also help our children to cope with everyday living. Children today more than ever need the support of a safe nurturing environment. They need a place they can feel free to express and explore their faith. They need a Christian world view.

We desire to provide our children with an excellent education

Proverbs 22:6 (NKJV) Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.

We recognize the value of Christian friendship / fellowship

Ephesians 4:16 (NIV) From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Acts 4:32 (NIV) All the believers were one in heart and mind.

STUDENTS SPEND AN AVERAGE OF 1200 HOURS A YEAR WITH THEIR PEERS… Friendship has been highly valued since the beginning of human history. Adam had Eve; David had Jonathan; even Jesus himself had a small circle of close friends, like Lazarus and his sisters. Paul developed several friendships and he relied heavily on them throughout his missionary journey. Our endeavor should be to develop these same qualities today: unity of purpose with expressions of genuine concern for others.
