Mount Zion Chapel

ChapelMount Zion Christian Schools are actively involved in proclaiming the Word of God and striving towards a consistent theological education in His word. Chapel is our way of coming together as Christ's community and focusing on His passions, His teachings and His mercy.

Trusting in the Holy Spirit to teach, rebuke, correct and train

As God's Word is spoken, sung, and taught we trust that the Holy Spirit will "teach, rebuke, correct, and train in righteousness, so that we will be equipped for every good work." (Taken from II Timothy 3:16-17) Chapel will also be an opportunity for students to lead and serve, and to see examples of others serving the Lord in ministries and missions.

Worship, Prayer & God's Word

Most chapels include contemporary worship, prayer, and the sharing of God's Word by our school Pastor. We also invite guest speakers to our chapels to share the message God has put on their hearts.

Chapels are held once a week and The Student Worship Team leads a time of corporate praise and prayer and then an invited speaker brings a challenge from God's Word. The Student Worship Team is made up of mostly upper-class students that are committed to serving the Lord as "lead worshipers" during our chapels and to living a life of worship daily
